Vancouver Engagement Photos
As I was standing there, surrounded by the darkness, I tried to open my eyes as wide as one possibly can, but I couldn’t see a thing. They say that the darkest hour is just before the dawn, so I knew it was just a matter of time before I was able to see something. The first thing that helped me to visualise it was the smell of the salt. Then came the sound of its tiny waves breaking on the shore. The ocean was just in front of me, and I knew how beautiful it was without even seeing it.
I climbed back up the stairs towards Tessa and Josh’s car to tell them that the rain had stopped, the first light was out, and we could start our day. I was lucky. It was not because of the break we got from the rain, but because of these two. “Let’s wake up at 5 am to catch the first light over Whytecliff Park” is a tough sell but not for these two. Born and raised in British Columbia, It was their element.
It is impossible to spend a day walking by this ocean, wandering around this forest, without falling in love with nature.
Tessa and Josh’s Vancouver engagement photos started at Whytecliff Park and continued on Lynn Canyon. I could have stayed and shot there all day long, but I had to stop at some point. I had a wedding to shoot the day after. It was their wedding.
