Hotel Ocho Wedding
There is a reason I was looking forward to this Hotel Ocho wedding. When I first met Jenia and Myles, it was for their engagement shoot. Within the hour they were having a picnic in the back of my car. I knew then that these guys are the “real deal.”
“We are weird, warm, intimate and fun and that’s exactly what our wedding turned out to be. One of the big things we committed to in advance was letting go of everything that could go wrong and just accepting that the day would be great; however it unfolded. That made a big difference in how much we were able to enjoy the celebration.”
Yes, yes and yes again. When planning a wedding, this is the best advice you could follow. Letting go isn’t easy, especially on your wedding day. Do yourself a favour and be kind to yourself and enjoy the moment. Sometimes the expectation brides and grooms put on their wedding day are unreal and not worth the stress. The way I see it, a wedding day is about two people, celebrating their love with their closest friends and family. The rest is just noise.
