High Park Engagement Photos – Kira & Andrew

“The morning I proposed to Kira, she tried everything she could not leave the house but I didn’t take no for an answer, I had to get her to High Park. I had a bag packed with wine, strawberries and a blanket for a lovely little picnic but I had no idea what I was going to say… We found a beautiful spot off to the side of a big field where we settled down. After a little while of enjoying our picnic, I decided it was time to propose.

I turned to my bag, took out the box and put in my pocket. When I spun back around to propose I heard her say, “is it raining? I think we should go. So we packed up and left for the car. My mind was racing, and I didn’t know what I was going to do! Thankfully Kira knows me too well and had a pretty good idea of why I forced her out fo the house that morning… So she pulled us over to a picnic bench near the car, where I quickly dropped to one knee and mumbled some gibberish which led to her saying “yes!”.

It was such a beautiful day, and the first time either of us had been to High Park before, so we knew we had to have our engagement shoot there too!”
